  Seal the Treatment Area

  Before switching your machine on, ensure that all windows and external doors are completely closed. If you notice any prominent gaps under or around the doorways, make sure these are safely blocked or sealed to keep the ozone concentrated inside the room.

  Position Fabrics & Curtains

  Ozone is highly effective at extracting odours trapped deep within structural fabrics, provided the scent hasn't become permanently ingrained over decades. If curtains or drapes are present in the room, ensure they are fully drawn closed to expose the maximum surface area to the air currents.

  Elevate the Generator

  Ozone molecules are physically heavier than regular air. To gain maximum benefit, always operate the machine from a safely raised position, such as on a sturdy table or countertop. This allows the projected ozone to cascade downward naturally, purification treating the entire air column before settling to neutralise the carpet lines.

  Managing Long-Term Odour Buildup

  When dealing with stubborn odours that have been allowed to accumulate intensely over a long period, a standard first pass may not completely eradicate the smell. If odours persist after the baseline treatment, it may be necessary to run an extended cycle or upgrade to a more powerful commercial-capacity generator.
